About the Project

The PREVENT project responds to the EU4Health Work Programme’s priority of fostering a comprehensive, prevention-oriented approach to mental health by addressing systemic gaps in suicide prevention, mental health literacy, and workforce resilience within the justice sector.

The project targets probation officers, correctional staff, and community professionals who engage with vulnerable populations โ€” including ex-offenders, individuals under community supervision, homeless persons, and veterans.
